The boat is an (enclosed) Center Cockpit Masthead Ketch powered by a good running Perkins Turbo Diesel T6.354. The Gulfstar 53MS has developed quite a reputation as the economical cruiser of choice for all types of Ocean conditions, perfect for the island hopping with a shallow draft keel (4.5’). While being 100% ICW friendly (63’ bridge clearance), long range cruising to the Keys, Bahamas, Bermuda, or Atlantic crossings are within reach due to her exceptional range. The boat is extremely roomy and very comfortable.
A new Partner would be the primary manager and user of the vessel, free to cruise wherever, whenever. The boat is located Oceanside near the Sebastian Inlet, and I am very unlikely to ever want to use the boat to venture away from the slip. The prospective Partner should either have sailing experience, yachting experience, be mechanically inclined, or all of the above. And MUST live near the boat year-round. Sorry, no smoking.
