This guitar combines classic Telecaster bite and twang with the distinctive warmth and chime of a lipstick neck pickup. The neck/body wood and electronics combination has a strong Keith Richards / roots-rock / Americana vibe rather than a strict vintage Tele recreation. It has a modern 6-saddle plate bridge for precise individual string intonation. The calibrated pickups (neck + bridge) guarantee balanced output levels and hum-canceling middle position operation. The Chicago Telephone Supply (CTS) pots are what Fender used for decades and sought out because they’re considered the benchmark for Tele and Strat wiring.
This “partscaster” is reminiscent of a boutique “Keef” guitar (heavily modified tribute to Keith Richards’ iconic 1950s butterscotch blonde Telecaster, famously named "Micawber"). An excellent choice for country, blues, roots rock, Americana, classic rock, and recording.
Condition is very good with light cosmetic wear consistent with normal use. See photos for details.
The price is $799 cash and local pickup.
