Due to business growth and expansion, we are hiring an experienced Residential Electrical Technician to join our team. This role is ideal for a skilled electrician who enjoys working directly with homeowners, diagnosing electrical issues, and confidently presenting solutions and in-person estimates. You will perform residential electrical repairs, upgrades, and installations while delivering excellent customer service and contributing to company growth by selling solutions.
Key Responsibilities
• Perform residential electrical services in compliance with NEC, local codes, and company standards
• Rewire homes, upgrade electrical panels and meter boxes, and install or replace outlets, switches, and lighting
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and identify safety or code-compliance concerns
• Clearly explain findings and recommended solutions to homeowners
• Create, present, and close in-person estimates for repairs and upgrades
• Address customer questions and concerns with professionalism and care
• Maintain accurate job documentation, photos, service notes, and invoices
• Keep service vehicle clean, organized, and stocked
• Follow all safety protocols and company policies
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, office staff, and management
Qualifications & Skills
• Prior experience as a Residential Electrical Technician or Electrician
• Strong troubleshooting and technical skills
• Proven sales or upselling experience in a home services environment
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Self-motivated, reliable, and detail-oriented
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening
