Deck Carpentry Builder Needed (Part-Time with Full-Time Potential)
Location: Indian River County (Sebastian / Vero Beach)
Compensation: Competitive Hourly Rate / Based on Experience $18-25
Employment Type: Part-Time (Can scale to Full-Time if you want to learn concrete & pools)
Right Way Enclosures, Pools & Spas is looking for someone with a solid background in carpentry to help us build custom wood decks.
We need a skilled builder with at least 2+ years of carpentry-style building experience who can read prints, take direction, and efficiently construct code-compliant decks.
This is a part-time position focused strictly on deck building. However, if you want full-time work, we are happy to transition you into a full-time role by training you on our concrete flatwork and pool building divisions.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
2+ Years of Carpentry Experience: You must have a background in framing, deck building, or structural wood carpentry. You know how to square a deck, set posts, run joists, and lay decking boards perfectly.
Ability to Follow Instructions: You must have enough field experience to take a set of plans or structural instructions and execute the build without constant hand-holding.
Willingness to Expand Skills (Optional): If you want full-time hours, we will actively train you on setting concrete forms, pouring, and installing fiberglass and above-ground pools.
REQUIREMENTS:
Experience: Minimum 2 years of hands-on structural carpentry or deck building.
Transportation & Tools: Must have a valid driver's license, a reliable personal vehicle (truck preferred), and your own basic hand tools/impact driver.
Professionalism: You show up on time, communicate clearly, and take pride in clean craftsmanship.
