A 1997 Mercedes 560SEC was purchased recently by someone who was scammed. Mileage was misrepresented, and seller Kyle knew previously, since I had sent the VIN history reports to him. He decided to sell under false pretense, and keeping my deposit, which was sent to guarantee I would show up as a serious buyer…it wasn’t paid for him to keep in the case that the car was misrepresented, which it was. Yea, this is a cautionary tale, to not send money to ANYONE, if you don’t know whether they have integrity or not.

Whomever the buyer was should know they overpaid, despite the appearance. Legal action should be taken.
